Built in 1873-1896 and designed by James Barnett and Walter Liberty Vernon, the Chief Secretary’s Building is of both State and National cultural importance.

Letizia Coppo + Associates were appointed by Property NSW to undertake extensive heritage conservation works to repair and conserve the original lath and plaster ceilings and decorative painted finishes of this highly significant building.
